Clinic History

Hillside Health Centre was created in 1984, by prominent Osteopath Maxwell Fraval. Maxwell was a driving force behind the introduction of cranial osteopathy and post graduate paediatrics in Australia.

The practice quickly developed a reputation for providing exceptional care of babies and children using cranial techniques.

In 1990, Maxwell opened a new clinic in Canberra, and the new practice principles, Dion Kulack and Leonnie Allsop, continued to develop the clinic’s reputation.

In 2002, Karen, Richard, and Heather became the new owners, continuing the strong focus on children and family heath, and introducing biodynamic principles. In 2006, with the impending arrival of her second child, Heather Cock left the practice to be closer to home.

Since then, the clinic has attracted practitioners dedicated to practising and developing their skills in Biodynamic Osteopathy.
